Job Description

As a consultant with Fortify, I provided executive-level guidance to small and mid-sized business owners, focusing on financial management, operational scaling, and long-term leadership development. I helped entrepreneurs implement Lean process improvements, advised on budgeting and forecasting to align business strategy with market trends, and facilitated leadership training and team development sessions to build accountability and cohesion within growing organizations. I'm now building on that consulting foundation as a course developer for National Louis University's LE3 program, where I design undergraduate business courses in organizational value, people and performance, and change management. Additional Information

I spent 20 years as an operations executive, most recently as COO of Fire Bros, where I drove a 56% revenue increase in six months. Before that I led P&L, Lean Six Sigma, and workforce strategy for companies including Argosy Cruises, Erin Air, and Marriott International. Along the way I built and scaled teams, ran $18M+ budgets, and turned operational chaos into repeatable systems using frameworks like EOS and Lean Six Sigma.

I'm now channeling that experience into business education. I'm currently designing undergraduate business courses in organizational value, people and performance, and change management for National Louis University's LE3 program, working to translate two decades of executive practice into curriculum that connects directly to how work actually happens.

I mentor MBA students because I remember exactly what it's like to be mid-career and figuring out the next move. I can help you think through leadership transitions, operations and strategy roles, how to translate hands-on experience into an MBA narrative, and what it actually takes to run a P&L or lead through change, because I've done it, and I'm now doing the work of teaching others how.
